? If I haven't pledged, can I still give to the campaign? Yes, simply mark your contribution as "campaign" and the funds will go toward the campaign goals. ? What types of donations are accepted? We have received cash, checks, stock, money market, land, jewelry, and retirement distributions. Please check with your tax advisor for the option that is best for you. ? Has capital giving hurt the regular giving to the church budget? No, our operating budget pledges showed an increase and giving has been tracking adequately to date. ? How much change/savings is have we seen so far in energy use? We are currently seeing a 16% decrease in energy consumption from the two years ago and 29% from three years ago. (We are not comparing summer of 2006 to this year since we were only using 1/3 of our building during the renovations.) ? What about mission? The Session voted to begin making quarterly payments to the Mwandi Hospital and the Free Medical Clinic of Aiken. The commitments to Presbyterian College and to Columbia Theological Seminary will be paid closer to the end of our campaign. Click here for details about the mission elements of the campaign. ? If the Capital Campaign received more money than is needed, where will that extra money go? We hope that this is a 'problem' that we will have!
