Now is a great time to become involved in the Music Ministry of our church! We would love to welcome new folks in any of the following choirs/groups.

Sanctuary Choir – Adults and Youth welcome!

Rehearsals: 7:00 – 8:30 pm, Wednesdays, Choir Room (#24)

Worship: 11:00 am, Sundays Ken Courtney, director

Water to Wine Band – Adults and Youth welcome!

Rehearsals: 7:00 – 8:30 pm, Wednesdays, Room 30

Worship: Selected 8:45 and 11:00 am, Sundays John Gordon, director

Shining Stars – Children ages 7 & up

Rehearsals: 6:00 – 6:45 pm, Wednesdays, Room 3

Worship: Selected Sundays and Services Lorraine Ray, director Anne Elkins, accompanist

Cherubs – Children ages 4 - 7

Rehearsals: 12:15 – 12:45 pm, Sundays, Room 3

Announcing the 2010-2011 Midday Music & Lunch Concert Series

Please mark your calendars, invite your friends, and plan to attend the Midday Music & Lunch Concerts this season. All concerts are held in the Sanctuary. Lunch catered by What’s Cookin’ Downtown is available in the Fellowship Hall, following the concerts. Lunch tickets are sold in advance, and may be purchased at the Church Office until 4:00 pm on the Monday preceding the concert. Tables may be reserved for groups.

January 20th – The Aiken Saxophone Quartet

February 17th – Jacob Will, baritone

March 10th – Students of the Juilliard School of Music

April 14th – Rebecca Shalk Nagel, oboe

We are in need of volunteers to usher, set up lunch, and clean up after lunch. Volunteers get to eat for free! Please contact Ken Courtney, 648-2662, to volunteer.
