. . .  for your generous offering of time, talent, and prayers on Servant Saturday, January 28th.  Through you, Christ's love and justice were made manifest in the Aiken community.  Because of your efforts, hot meals were shared at Grace itch (St. John's United Methodist Church) and the Soup Kitchen (St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church); clothing was provided for those served by ACTS; encouragement was given through cards for Savannah River Cancer Foundation clients as well as Valentines for ACTS Senior Food program recipients; facilities were cleaned at the Red Cross office and Christ Central-Aiken (River of Life campus); and prayer vigils in homes as well as in the sanctuary lifted all local ministries to God.

The Honduras Agape Foundation, has its dates set for 2012's mission trips, as the Aiken-based ministry continues in its efforts to help in such areas as health care, education and evangelism, all in partnership with small-town churches in northwestern Honduras.

Dates for this year's trips are February 29 - March 10, March 31 - April 4, June 4 - 15,  July 7 - 17 and October 8 - 15.  Each trip is different in terms of work and other activities.

First information is also available from HAF Board Members Allen Blancett and Alan Moses, in addition to several other First Presbyterian members who have helped in Honduras over the past decade of service.  HAF now has a Facebook page, and details are at www.hondruasagape.com as well.
