This class uses Barclay’s Commentaries and studies specific books of the Bible. Come for the fellowship and learn more about the Bible. They are a lively bunch with strong opinions and a desire to develop their faith.

Focus Class

This class meets for vigorous discussion on a variety of contemporary issues. This class is using the Horizon’s “Revelation Study” for the Fall and a video series study for the spring.

The Law Class

Named for Ernestine Law, this class is dedicated to serving God and each other. This class uses The Present Word, a Bible Study lesson series that follows the lectionary scriptures for each week.

Study after study indicates that children raised in the church are more likely to be successful and well adjusted. This class looks at how to be intentional about teaching children compassion, understanding of Christian service, and the importance of demonstrating God’s love for the world in our actions. This class is using several resources including A Mile in My Shoes by T. Hudson, The Advent Conspiracy by A. Sharpe, and Caring for Ourselves While Caring for Our Elders by M. Tirabassi and L. Tigert.

Seasons of the Spirit

The Seasons of the Spirit curriculum invites us to explore meaning and mystery in the Bible through liturgical year. It is a curriculum that connects education to worship and service. It is global in perspective, environmentally aware, and inclusive of the arts. By connecting the biblical passages to contemporary issues, it brings faith into everyday life.
